We loved staying at this hotel! The location was perfect - right on the shore of the canal, providing amazing views of the mountains and sunsets. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Plus, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The hotel was also very clean and had great facilities, including parking and transportation options. We appreciated being in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the bar area and close to the kitchen.

Hotel is located well away from the center of the city -- I had a rental car and once I was near, it still took almost twenty minutes to find it, using a map given to me by the local tourist office. Also, the wi-fi internet service worked only occasionally. Finally, the walls are thin between rooms -- I could hear everything that was said (and the loud tv) from the rooms on each side of mine.

Brand new hotel with large rooms.Wooden flor, which is very nice. Beautiful view from the room window. Many channels in TV. Far from the city center if you do not have a car. But it is a bonnus for us because the city center is not a pleasant place to stay. You can dine in the hotel or in the hotel nearby and pay the same price you would find in another restaurant (tourist price, of course). The man in the recepcion (Herman, I think) gave us great ideas of places to visit.

No eggs in the breakfast. It should be smoking-free hotel.

Great location on the bay also means it is too far from downtown to walk. Getting there requires a $5 taxi ride every time.

Hotel was wonderful - just located a bit further from town than expected - so to do anything needed to go via taxicab - while not very expensive $5-6 one way, we would have preferred a closer location.
